Designed to be accessible - plenty of space and sliding doors

Downstairs - living room inside and out, plus modern kitchen, large bathroom and ground floor bedroom

The front door leads into a generous living and dining area with large fireplace and open plan fitted kitchen.

In the  living room, there is a sofa and easy chairs plus fold away dining table and chairs. In the corner is a book case with a wide variety of reading materials and a chest of drawers full of games. A CD player and radio with some CDs sits on the bookcase, and beside it is a small transmitter that plugs into the earphone socket so that you can send music from the CD player or from your MP3 player (i-pod) to speakers throughout the house, or even in the garden.

Two glass doors lead out onto the first of two patio areas with plenty of space for sitting and eating out.

The first patio area is pictured here at 11 am.

This area catches the sun in the afternoon and evening and is the perfect place to sit and watch the sun go down across the bay or to chat to local people as they make their way up to the village. Two olive trees, the herb garden and a wild pear tree provide a pleasing counterpoint to the view and some privacy. What could be better at the end of the perfect summer's day?

The large downstairs bathroom has toilet, bath (plus shower) and washbasin in a marble surround. This bathroom has a wide sliding door, and has been designed so that someone in a wheelchair can use the facilities with ease (but without specialist features and not enough room for the wheelchair to turn round).
